| Painter Suzanne Ellis talks about her
wildlife painting:
"I paint wildlife and nature because I want to share the mystery
and unbelievable beauty of the natural world. Painting is how I pray for
and celebrate what I love.
"I paint with acrylics and use my own photos for reference. I have
traveled to many wild places to study and photograph the animals in their
natural habitat. I have scuba dived under a school of hammerhead sharks and
been charged by an elephant!

Recent Awards:
Suzanne's painting "Heart of the
Mountain," was recently juried into the 2007
PaintAmerica Mini Top 50.
Her painting "Badger State of Mind,"
was juried into PaintAmerica's 2007 Top 100, and won the Grand
Prize Purchase Award.
Her "Ghost of Wildcat Mountain" won
the 2007 Paint the Parks Competition!
